Floramama
Located in Frelighsburg, in the Brome-Missisquoi region, one hour south of Montreal, the farm cultivates on less
then one hectare, hosts around sixty varieties of different cut flowers and is part of a movement of producers who promote local organic farming on a human scale, without tractors.
The farm demonstrates its commitment by working in harmony with nature through the use, as far as possible, of certified organic inputs and by adopting a cultural management based on minimal tillage, which maintains the structure
of the soil and promotes the biodiversity of species.
The flowers grown at Floramama are very differently from those produced on a large scale. They are softer, of unusual beauty, beautifully imperfect as opposed to the rigid flowers of the conventional trade.
FURTHER, FLORAMAMA WANTS TO CONTRIBUTE TO ARISING AN INTEREST FOR THE PRESERVATION OF NATURE, SOURCE OF ALL RESOURCES.
